Were some students discriminated on issuance of trip allowances?

Moi University students at KICD grounds.

Students whose whose names were missing in the students list for the academic tour have divided fates after some were given their allowances. The remnants of the students complained that there might be hidden discrimination on the issuance of the allowances.

Speaking to fourth estate reporter, Chris Wamalwa, whose name was in the list but was not given his allowance said, "This is unfair, how comes we are the only students to suffer while others are compensated and we had the same issue?"
The lecturer in charge of the students during the trip said that he had no authority to add or remove anyone from the list of students since it was predetermined by the University administration.
Some students at some point forced the lecturer to issue the allowances to all students but in vain.
The fate for the remaining number of students is yet to be known.
